Description
Hardy prostrate or low sprawling shrub. Grows 1-1.5m wide and 0.1m – 0.3m high.

Foliage
Finely ribbed slender branchlets.

Flowers
Lemon-yellow ball flowers, Aug-Oct.

Habitat
Often in rocky areas in Eucalypt woodland or forest or closed heath. Moist well-drained soils in dappled shade or partial sun.Widespread, locally found in dry woodlands.

Special Notes
Tolerates heavy clay, frost and extended dry periods. Useful low-level cover in weindbreaks.

Value to Wildlife
Attracts seed-eating birds and insects.
