Description
Erect tufted perennial herb up to 50cm.
Foliage
Narrow rosette of leaves which are covered in woolly hairs.
Flowers
Golden yellow flowers in globular heads. Long flowering, from spring to summer.
Habitat
Prefers a moist but well-drained soil, but can take dry periods. Found locally in moist soils in foothill forest.
Special Notes
Grows from an underground rhizome, so if the plant dies off, it can resprout. Tolerates frost.
