Prefers high rainfall moist conditions. Wet forests and along streams, mainly below 1000m elevation.
Special Notes
Excellent for streambank erosion control, protecting beds and banks from erosive control.
Value to Wildlife
Flowers produce rich nectar which is attractive to butterflies and other insects.
