Description
Medium to tall shrub or small tree 1-12m high and up to 5m wide.
Foliage
Rusty-hairy branches and large green leaves (pale greenish beneath).
Flowers
Cream to green (sometimes tinged crimson). Oct-Nov. Small and often profuse.
Habitat
Open forest. Moderately to well-drained soils in sheltered or semi-sheltered sites.
Special Notes
Useful for stabilising soils along streams and gullies.
Value to Wildlife
Trunks habitat for lichens. Hosts larve of Jewel Butterflies.
