Small tufted succulent perennial herb to 50cm high.

Foliage
Thick, fleshy strap-like leaves.

Flowers
Bright yellow flowers growing along main stalk. Flowers in spring.

Habitat
Grows on rocky granitic sites.

Special Notes
Plant in groups – will spread. Dies down to underground tuber after flowering and reshoots in autumn.

Value to Wildlife
Provides nectar for native butterflies and moths.
