Description
Hardy shrub 1–3 metres high.
Foliage
Leaves are one to two inches long, but very narrow and almost like a needle.
Flowers
Golden yellow flowers, look exactly like the flowers on a pea plant.
Habitat
Well-drained soil, tolerates drought and frost.
Special Notes
Fast growing and short lived. Useful low-level cover in windbreaks. Important component of understorey.
Value to Wildlife
Excellent habitat.
