2024 Winter Solstice Gathering

It’s on again!
The last couple of years we’ve held a Winter Solstice gathering along with lanterns released onto the water, music and storytelling. It’s been such a success that we are looking to make this an annual event.

Come along to make lanterns, join the parade, enjoy some damper and listen to stories by the campfire.

There will be: Bonfire, Music, Lantern parade, Storytelling

BYO lantern from previous year’s event or make your own lantern prior to the event.

There will be an opportunity for people who don’t have one to make a lanterrn at the event but supplies will be limited and it will be a case of first in best dressed. If you wish to make a lantern at the event we encourage you to bring a washed 2L milk bottle with the top cut off.

Bring picnic dinner and or snacks.
We will make damper as usual but this will be just a taste for the children.
