Having held executive assistant roles across a variety of institutes and private enterprises Linda is well placed to offer in experienced support to the EAI committee.
Linda has always been keenly interested in Australian native plants. In pursuit of this passion she studied Landscape Design at the University of Melbourne Burnley and ran her own garden design business in Melbourne before moving to Euroa in 2023.
Together with her husband Michael, they are replanting their rural block with local plants, to create a haven for wildlife. Linda volunteers at the Arboretum and is enjoying life in Euroa, a very friendly and welcoming township.…
Joe started his work life as a wild cave guide leading to a love of geology, work as a mine geologist, hydrographer, and eventually registered teacher. As well as working at the arb, he currently teaches music and STEM at Euroa’s local public schools.
Joe is a member of the Bush Crew, having started at the Arb as a volunteer in 2016. He now has a maintenance role as well. Being able to identify and brush-cut around native grasses and throwing himself into meaningful physical work are the small and the big rocks that keep him engaged. He loves learning more about the local plants and ecology from his amazing knowledgeable colleagues!
A native of Tasmania, Joe inherited a love of plants from his father and great great grandfather Dr Leonard Rodway, a renowned Tasmanian botanist and former director of the Royal Botanical Gardens in Hobart. Bushwalking, caving, and involvement in conservation in Tassie have given him a keen sense of what is special in our natural environment.
Joe graduated in 2005 with a Bsc from UTAS, and 2016 with a grad-dip Ed from La Trobe Uni. He has two daughters he can’t stop mentioning, loves to play chess and the highlights of the week are playing in the secondary college bands with his music students. …
Rose completed her Masters in Environment and Sustainability at Monash University. She has worked in environmental management within the water industry for over 13 years. This includes Victorian water efficiency projects which contribute environmental water savings towards the wider Murray Darling Basin plan. Rose has a love of all things nature and is passionate about working and collaborating with others in areas which strive to address some of the environmental challenges of today.…
Janet is a retired secondary and tertiary Art and Design teacher. She has lived in Euroa for fifty years. A founding member of the Arboretum Committee of Management, involved in early planning, planting and working bees.
Janet has lifetime interest in plants and birds, and in recording both through photography and drawing. Janet as assisted in designing signage at the Arboretum and you’ll see her work all throughout the Arboretum. She’s very excited about the Arboretum’s future.

Passionate about local flora, Fearghus loves being surrounded by the natural world. After studying in Victoria, he lived in Tasmania where he worked as an outdoor educator, guide, and field ecologist.
When he’s not maintaining the Arboretum’s nursery, Fearghus can be found hiking or cycling through the high country.…
Kathi has worked as a design architect in a variety of well established architectural and design practices in New York, London and Melbourne.
Following the completion of a Graduate Diploma in Horticulture, she worked in the local government sector where she focused on urban design and urban agriculture. Kathi is passionate about working with community and individuals to translate their ideas and aspirations into a successful outcome.…
Libby is a retired librarian and is very much committed to bush gardening techniques along the creek at select sites through the township of Euroa to promote a more sustainable and diverse bush land restoration with a focus on “decolonizing” weeding and targeted plantings to achieve this. …
Trent is keen on where technology can be used to help conservation efforts. Working 15 years in IT he sees a future of using these emerging technologies to help the bush. He loves living where the mountains meet the plains and the amazing ecology of this area.…
