Description
Prostrate or erect shrub to 1m high, usually with hairy branchlets.
Foliage
Pointed, triangular ph yllodes with prominentmid-vein: 4-15mm long.
Flowers
Golden-yellow to almost white, usually Jun-Oct.
Habitat
Found scattered in foothills. In Eucalyptus open-forest or dryish woodlands.
Special Notes
Legume, improves soil fertility through nitrogen fixation. Useful in controlling soil erosion due to soil-binding fibrous roots.
Value to Wildlife
Good habitat. Flowers are a nectar and pollen source for various native birds and insects.
