Description
Tall tree with straight, largely bark-free trunk, 35m high. Smooth white bark shedding in reddish strips and slabs which may remain held loosely to the trunk.
Foliage
Attractive white/grey/pink bark. Rounded to open canopy.
Habitat
Locally found on dry-ish soils in the foothills and ranges
Special Notes
Useful medium to high level cover in windbreaks. Tolerates frost, cold and extended dry periods.
Value to Wildlife
Excellent habitat tree with hollows.
