Heathlands and dry woodlands, on sand, sandy loam or skeletal soils over rock.
Special Notes
Widespread and hardy. Excellent for rockeries. May require regular pruning to maintain shape. Best planted in groups.

Good nectare source for native butterflies and other insects.
