Description
Erect herb to 20-80cm high.
Foliage
Leaves long and narrow t o 9cm. Long narrow branch ingstems, occasionally forming a clump.
Flowers
Single clear- white daisies with yellow centre to 2.5cm across, helderect on slender stems: up to 45cm high. Flowers from spring to summer.
Habitat
Prefers moist to boggy soil. Perennial. Prefers heavy clay soils. Found locally on swampy ground of open woodlands on the northern plains.
Special Notes
Grows well in moist situation and can be established as a bog plant.
Value to Wildlife
Provides nectar for native butterflies and moths.
